Welcome, or as we say it in my native tongue, "Dajon" (come in) to my photography blog. In here, I will chronicle my journey as I strive to improve on my photography skills. Like most budding photographers, my aim is to master my digital camera and take better pictures.
Photography is mainly a hobby for me. I have only gotten a bit serious on it when I bought my first interchangeable lens camera a couple of years ago. It is a micro four-thirds mirrorless camera, the Olympus E-PL1, which came with a twin lens kit. And I've never looked back since then.
I shoot very often, mostly practice shots so, many of the pictures I have taken will never be published or had long since been deleted. I learn everyday about my camera and on photographic techniques and skills. I will share all of them in this blog.
I have not decided on what type of photography I would like to specialise someday. I will try them all whenever possible. At the moment, I am very fascinated with close-up or macro photography. I've started building up my gears on this type of photography. I have taken some photos that I really like. I hope it is decent enough for the experienced photographers to enjoy.
